Facebook hits 200 Million Faces–Is Your Face Found?
Facebook finally publicly admitted how many people are actually on Facebook. Many had been speculating how many users were on the site but I guess for whatever reason they have been keeping this a big secret. I suppose when you have so much at stake with advertising that you might want to wait until a certain moment to reveal just how big you are and I guess that moment is when you are a monster.
What this means of course is that Facebook is not merely a fad or going away anytime soon. I actually like some aspects of the site and it can work great to keep connected. With more features added regularly it seems like the site has a lot to offer now and in the future as well as keeping up with the Jones’ as other sites expand. Some have proposed that Facebook could kill off Twitter simply by emulating the site. For now both sites are seeing amazing growth and I must admit that must be nice to have in a website!
